Product Information

Towerflo is an effective non-acid cooling tower cleaning solution. This product acts as a flocculent inside cooling systems to chemically put sand, dust, dirt, lime, silt and other contaminants into suspension. The heavy particles will then be flushed by bleeding off the system.

Save energy costs: Cleaning the system will save more than 15% in energy costs (based on a deposit of 1/16 inch). The chilling system will not have to work as hard to provide the same level of cooling.
Treatment is done online: no downtime is required.
Minimal labour is required to perform the treatment

Acts as an efficient scale and corrosion inhibitor
Does not cause any chemical imbalance with other water treatment products
Ideal to prevent build-ups of contaminants on the internal/water side surfaces of coolers, condensers, air compressors, heat/cooling exchangers and reservoirs
Recommended to be used as a shock treatment 2 to 3 times a year
Can be fed automatically with a pump system on a daily basis

DIRECTIONS

Treatment for Cooling Towers: For a simple and effective treatment to remove contaminants (sand, dirt, silt, sludge, mud and algae) from the cooling system, please use as shown below.

Cooling Towers: Dosage of Towerflo: 1 litre per day (3,78 litres)

Hot or chilled water 1 litre per 4000 litres, 2 to 3 times a year. Circulate water for 24-48 hours. Drain system from its lowest point until water runs clear. For extremely dirty systems double the dosage. Add Towerflo into the sump directly in the tower’s reservoir or in the feeding line for chemicals. For Automated Feeding, use Towerflo with a Brodi Automated Injection System on a daily basis.
